FoReVeR WaiTinG

As the cool wind blows in the stillness of the night,

And clouds give way to the pale, eerie moonlight,

On my bed by the window I now sit,

Where you and I once vowed for a love to keep.

Countless days, weeks, and months have gone so fast,

I hardly noticed the seasons pass;

In my mind everything still seems like yesterday,

Never will I forget the woeful sunset.

In this place where now I sit,

Patiently I’ve waited but you never came,

Each night I returned here, I’ve been wondering,

Unceasingly I’ve asked, “Why did you ever leaved?”

Tears start to fall now as I look into the HEAVEN,

In the moon’s reflection it’s your face I still remember,

Flashing before my eyes are all our memories–

Sweet, sober memories I would always cherish

My vision is now unclear,

Darkness is all I can see,

Slowly I close my eyes and dream,

I lie here, forever waiting.
